Star Wars: Jedi Resurrection

Terran's true heritage

Terran looked blankly at Jocasta for some kind of support and seeing none looked back at Revan. “Wait…that’s it?” He grabbed Revan’s cloak as he turned to walk further into the tunnels. “I get a call from your helmet six systems away to come rescue you, and that’s all I get? Maya promised me more. I want to know why it was so important that I find you.”

Even behind his mask, Revan could project a sense of disappointment. “You have a long way to go yet, young Jedi. Just because I said that we had not the time to discuss these matters, didn’t mean there aren’t other ways…” Revan produced a pearl shaped gem from the hem of his garment. It was black as basalt and seemed to draw light into it. “This is a black krayt dragon pearl. It was removed from the last chamber of the gizzard of the infamous Krayt Dragon known as ‘Tsuchikurobi, the earthroller’. It was a gift to the Tusken Raider tribe ‘Do’noochi’ from your great great grandfather after he slew the great beast. Afterwards, he used his influence within the tribe to have them hunt down and kill a woman. Among other things, this would start a great war.”

Terran looked puzzled. “Perhaps you have the wrong person then. My great great grandfather was Raymus Antilles and he wouldn’t have dealt with the Tusken Raiders…he hated them.”

Revan reached out with the pearl and handed it to Terran. “You have been misinformed.”

As Terran touched the pearl his attention was focused immediately on the blackness of it. His eyes were drawn into it like he was falling into it’s gravitational pull. It was as cold as ice and the chill ran up his arm and into his body. Immediately he knew it was more than just a piece of gemstone. Memories from centuries of his ancestors flooded his mind driving him to his knees and causing the outside world to disappear. Only the gemstone mattered.

He saw the face of a woman, quite beautiful, stroking his face, making baby noises trying to soothe him. He was wrapped in a blanket of blue with a gold star birthmark on his right upper chest, an mark known galaxy wide as the royal house of Alderaan. He watched as the beautiful woman shattered into a million pieces and he felt a million stabs of white hot light run through his body as though millions were being tortured. The blanket unfurled into a flag painted on the outside of a building and the baby morphed into a young man begging to go to the Academy. He watched as the figure lay with another beautiful woman of jet black hair. He suddenly changed to being trained in the force by someone in a glittering ancient city. There he stares longingly into the most beautiful eyes he had ever seen. He senses only her name Desha. He watches as blood pours from her eyes and looks down to see it covering his hands. Again, a beautiful woman appears with a crown and an extra pair of arms. There is a wedding with thousands in attendance. Suddenly, all of the attendees start falling one by one until thousands are dead. The only two left are Terran and the queen. A single tear of blood falls from her eye as she falls too. In what seems like an eternity, another stab of white light hits Terran and then another and then another. Until it literally seems like it will never end. He starts falling into a crevice filled with blood and darkness. He knows how to swim but he is paralyzed. It seems he is going to drown until he is pulled out by his great grandfather Terran, his namesake! He instantly recognizes his great grandfather from holovids, but something’s not right. In the next scene he is seen holding the same Alderaanian cloth but it is a cloak. It has the name Terran Ogonix Mobodu’wan inscribed on it as he throws it into an ocean. He turns to his great great grandfather Raymus Antilles who says only “Are you sure?” As he nods the affirmative, Raymus takes out a lightsaber and ignites it only to hold it to his chest burning off his birthmark. He screams. Antilles. Antilles. Antilles…

“…Antilles!!! Terran!!!”

Terran awoke to see Jocasta standing over him. She seemed relieved to see he was okay. Terran didn’t say anything, he just stared into her eyes and it registered. He pulled back his jumpsuit revealing his upper chest. A gold star. The black krayt dragon pearl had fallen next to him when he blacked out. Jocasta reached for it. “You dropped this. Are you okay?”

Terran receives a dark side point.

The next step

Jocasta stepped back after handing Revan the helmet and knelt putting her own helmet on. Terran witnessed her making some sort of fist sign which he assumed was Mando’an in origin. Noone spoke waiting on Revan.
"We can speak of studies and history later. For the moment, time is something we have very little of. In my decades of entombment, I have felt this planet. I have been able to commune with it, feeling it change, feeling it hurt. By communing with the planet, I have felt the present of great evil. It is to the northwest of here and it is intricate, though I know not how, in the machinations of the dark side. We must go there now, and perhaps we can discuss more along the way.

The Awakening
Revan stood before the group casting an imposing figure. His clothes were tattered and his face horribly burned. Though still suffering from the temporary blindness that comes from emerging from a slab of frozen gas, Revan betrayed no such weakness. For more than a century the force had been the only sense available to him. It told him all he needed to know of his surroundings. “Lord Revan…” Jocasta bowed to one knee before him. Revan regarded her. “Stand up,child. It is I that should bow to you. I feared I would spend eternity trapped in that carbonite hell.”

Jocasta immediatly rose up, appearing slighly shaken. Immediatly she removed her pack and produced a long, black robe. “Here.” She said firmly as she tossed it to Revan, trying vainly to appear unshaken.

“Thank you, child.” Revan replied, as he slipped the robe on.

“There’s one more thing…”, Jocasta held the helmet out before her, a smug smile on her face.

Curiously Revan reached out, touching the helm. As he did a slight smile appeared as memories flooded over him. Then his hand brushed Jocastas. Revan paused, his hand lingering on hers, momentarily. His benign smile seemed to fade and his hands trembled. He seemed tos tare off into oblivion, lost.

“What is it?” Jocasta asked. At the sound of her voice, Revan snapped back to attention. Regaining his composure, His smile returned. “I haven’t felt the touch of another in so long.” Revan took the helmet from Jocasta, and regarded it sentamentally. “I thought it lost.”

Revan Placed the helm on his head, then pulled the hood of the robe up over it. For the first time in thousands of years, he felt complete.

Finally, Revan acknowledged Terran. Regarding the young man before him, Revan spoke: “Though my eyes fail me at the moment, I can see the force is strong in you. I’ve only seen so much power in one other. Tell me, child, what is your name?”

Alone in the Dark
He had lingered in a waking dream state for what seemed an eternity. He wanted to scream, to reach out with the force and call Aiala to him, but he found his connection to her and the others severed. He had long lost track of time. Anyone else would have been driven insane trapped as he had been. He had heard many stories about people being frozen in carbonite. None mentioned the victims retaining conciousness while incased. He had quit asking himself why he was still awake long ago. Now he just focused, reaching out with the force. Calling his friends for help. Calling anyone. He imagined the force as a muscle. He just needed to build up strength to be strong enough in the force to get his call out beyond his icy prison. When he wasn’t calling for help forced himself to recall his past life. He musn’t lose himself. He would not lose his identity. Not again. He remembered growing up on Cloud City. He remembered meeting Aiala for the first time. Ailyn on Cloud City. Maya sacrificing herself to save him and Ray. Teeo slaying Tempest. All of it. In time he also remembered other things. Memories of past lives. The Mandalorian Wars. The fall to the darkside. Malek’s Betrayel. Bastilla. Salvation. Bastilla. Aiala. Ailyn. Bastilla. Aiala. Ay… Days became weeks. Weeks became months. Months turned to years. Until one day a strange thing happened: When he cried out for help, a familier yet unexpected voice answered. For the third time Revan would return from the abyss.
Two Masters, are better that one

‘What the hell was I thinking!’ Terran thought to himself as the slime creature engulfed him. Terran began to struggle, though useless, he was being crushed by the slime creature. ‘No way out! Help!’ his thoughts went out to Jocasta.

The only smart thing Terran did was put the breather mask on before letting this thing bring him down into the contaminated feasted water that housed the slime. ‘At least I wont drown.’ The pressure of being crushed was weakening, he felt tired… ready to give up. ‘Stupid! Ignorant fool I was!’ Anger is what Terran felt now, fueling him and bringing him back fighting.

“TeeO! Remember what I have taught you. The force is yours to control, you are the master and it obeys your will.” The image of Bodo flashed through his mind.

Terran teased up, not so much as struggling against the slime creature as he was reading for what was about to be unleashed. He could feel the power building up, control, he was it’s master and released it. Lightening shot out and into the creature. The slime reacted, though it couldn’t scream, Terran knew from the creatures movements it was in pain. Again Terran released his wraith on this creature enough to kill it. Terran body was no longer being crushed but he was still inside this slimy thing. ‘How am I going to…’ Before he could finish his thoughts, Terran was being pulled out by Dae Gil.

Removing the breathing mask, Terran remained on the ground where Dae Gil had pulled him up to safety. Coughing, trying to catch his breath he managed to speak. “Thanks Dae.” Dae Gil shook his head in disgust, cutting the line that he used to pull Terran up with and joined the others as they examined the creature.

Terran starred up at the ceiling recalling his lessons taught to him by Bodo. Seemed that he has more questions than answers about his true family history. “Sometimes.” He mumbled to himself. “I wish I had never found that holocron of Bodo Moboduwan.”

Darth Talon

“After the explosion, I couldn’t see anything except a flash of lasers and a swinging light sword. She was probably a Jedi. They’re all evil”
-quote from Armm-i-dad, innocent bystander who lost his leg in the battle

Terran's Destiny

Terran stared at the empty space that at one time was occupied by Luke Skywalker’s hand, or at least the plaque label identified it as so. Closing his eyes, he thought back to the time when he was training in the ways of the force, taught to him by Maya. “Remember to be careful using your powers out in the open. Your lightsaber should only be used in times of great threat to yourself… or to those whom you wish to protect.” Maya’s voice trailed off in his thoughts.

The lightsaber was easily concealed, weighed less to nothing and yet felt like it was out in the open for everyone to see. He knew that he must heed Maya’s warning. “I would have.” Terran mumbled to himself. Looking at his companions one by one until rested his eyes on Dae Gil. “I would have risked it. Even if everyone finds out who and what I am, to save them.” It’s the Jedi code. Terran felt that it was his destiny to see that Jedi’s return and prove that they are a force of good.

Terran’s gaze was focus on Jocasta. There was some connection, the force perhaps, she was no Jedi, but still. Either way he felt that it was wise letting her hang onto the helmet. Even in her full body armor Terran was noticing her curves, that of an attractive woman when Jocasta helmet turned slightly toward him. He went wide eyed and began looking at some of the other art on the walls.

Meet Jocasta Vel

Jocasta tells you of her past and her people. She is descended from a long line of soldiers. She has known nothing but war. It’s also how she knows about the helmet that TeeO shows her. She tells you of it’s story. Of Darth Revan and how he is a hero to her people. She also tells you that Darth Omega wants it. She heard just last standard cycle how the collective Dark Lords of the Sith had put out bounties on several ‘esoteric’ historical items. This helmet was one of them and probably the reason your former ‘captain’ was trying to frame you and take it off of the companys hands. As long as you have this helmet, she warns, Darth Omega will not stop looking for you. She wants the helmet badly, and Jocasta wouldn’t be surprised if she didn’t stop until we were all dead looking for it.

Darth Revan’s history

It's a trap!

When last we left our heroes…

They were headed to New Alderaan to sell some newly acquired items on the black market. On the way, Jek Quee pulled them out of hyperspace to investigate a distress signal. Pulling up next to the stalled craft they docked with it but couldn’t get aboard. They sent their reprogrammed droid “I, Arthur” out the hatch to have a look. He found more than he had bargained for. Pirates in Zero-G armor attacked from a hidden Y-wing while a lady in a space suit emerged from the ship.
After a short battle in which Jek smashed some of them against the other ship they took off with the newly acquired soldier girl named Jocasta Vel on board. She had been attacked with her family and they were all dead. She informed them that New Alderaan had been turned into a slave planet and that they might want to reconsider. They decided to move ahead and land. While landing, Day convinced the ground control that he was important and moved to the front of the line. While moving, another police vehicle named the “Justice” almost collided with them and 17 other ships. Due to some fast thinking and piloting, the Duros on board successfully used the tractor beam to pull it to safety and allow the police vehicles to save it from crashing. When arriving on the planet, everyone made it through security except the Duros and Jek who is wanted for murder and stealing a ship apparently.
